From the 3rd to the 8th of June, I had the profound opportunity to revisit the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), where I first participated as a candidate in the Prince of Wales’s Business and Sustainability Programme in 2014. This time, I returned as a Faculty Member, Fellow, and Ambassador, supporting Africa’s corporate leaders in driving impactful change.

A highlight was visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum’s Rise Up, Revolution and Abolition exhibition, which explored the painful history of slavery and the courageous efforts of figures like Nanny of the Maroons and Olaudah Equiano. The experience was both sobering and inspiring, reminding us of how far we've come and the importance of resilience. I am proud to be part of a team led by visionary leaders such as Lindsay Hooper, Richard Calland, and Themba Maseko, whose courageous leadership fuels real transformation. This journey reaffirmed my belief that representation isn’t a privilege but a necessity—when Africa’s talent shapes global decisions, the world becomes more just, inclusive, and beautiful.
